About

Why we
publish.

We are the publishing arm of Exceptional Companies — where our frameworks go once they have survived contact with a real business.

Everything here was used before it was written down.

We are an Innovation Ecosystem in Colorado Springs, and we buy, build and operate businesses across advisory, energy, insurance, wealth and media. Every framework we publish was installed in one of our own companies first, and most of them broke at least once before they worked.

That is our whole editorial standard. We publish what we run on. When a number is uncertain we date it and say so, and when we cannot source a statistic we leave it out rather than repeat it.

We write for the owner who built something real with their hands, their talent and their years — and who intends to hand it off well rather than run out of time holding it.

A stranger should be able to see the piece with the logo cropped off and still tell it came from an Exceptional company. Family Brand Standards
